Meet The Chef
I developed a passion for cooking and the creativity it provided me at a young age. For my first job in the hospitality industry, I bussed tables and did dishes at a small Italian restaurant in my hometown. The head chef would always bring me on the line to show me how to prepare dishes and would always let me cook my own meals. This only furthered my passion and ability to create.
From that point on, I was hooked and knew I wanted to pursue a career in the culinary arts. I attended Johnson and Wales University to further my education and skills. After culinary school, I held numerous positions in restaurants, hotels, wine bars, casinos, senior living facilities and as an instructor for culinary education.
In 2013 I started this company (The Colorado Chef) which services professional athletes, individuals & families for weekly meal preparation, diet planning, injury recovery, grocery shopping and delivery, recipe design, private parties or events, business luncheons, small weddings or celebrations, pairing dinners and cooking classes.
When I am not cooking for others, I will most likely still be found in the kitchen at home cooking for my family. In other spare time I enjoy a nice IPA while listening to music and sitting by an indoor or outdoor fire. I enjoy spending time and making memoires with my wife, three kids and our dog by taking them camping, hiking, biking and skiing.

" It was a pleasure to have met and worked with Chef Jordan. For a birthday party, my daughter suggested a private chef so I could enjoy myself instead of rushing around getting a meal on the table. She did the research and found Timothy. From the initial meeting to the end of the party, it was completely stress free. What a splendid way to entertain in your own home! We found Timothy to be punctual, professional, talented and organized. He was able to accomodate my wishes for a French themed menu using organic products. Everything was delicious and my kitchen was spotless when he left. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for any type of culinary survices! "
" Timothy cooked on site at our office for our annual award service lunch. Our vice president wanted a very special event for 45 of our employees. He didn't want a typical catered lunch so I called a few personal chefs who could do the cooking on site. We wanted asian inspired cusine which is not especially difficult, but we do not have a stove in our office only 2 large grills. Thankfully Timothy was up to the challenge!! He worked with me on tailoring the menu which included 2 appetizers, 3 main dishes and regular and fried rice. Being a very new employee to the company I was a bit nervous about it going well, but Timothy was very calm and reassuring. He allowed plenty of time for the preparation the day of the event and the food was ready to serve right on time. He and his assistant arranged the tables for the buffet and cleaned up as well. I had many people comment about how wonderful and unique it was. I will keep him in mind for next year although we might provide a more "grill friendly" menu for his sake. Thanks Chef Timothy!! "
"For anyone wanting a special event I would look no further than Chef Timothy. I had him come into my home for a 50th birthday celebration for a seated dinner for 24. All along the way he was flexible, affordable without scrimping on quality and open to ideas related to style of service and the menu. The day of the event the food was prepared perfectly, timed well and for such a relatively large seating, no one waited for a course. He also prepared a vegetarian option which was as unique as it was delicious, just like the rest of the menu. At the end of the evening our kitchen was left clean, allowing for a great in-home celebration that all attendees raved about. I hope to get to use the Chef again soon in the future and highly recommend him."

We have four kids and he has conquered the impossible- they all love his healthy food, even our picky eater.
